Job Description
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to design, build, and manage ELT data transformation pipelines that support analytical activities, reporting, alerting, and AI analytics.
- Construct the Semantic Layer to standardize business concepts, metrics, dimensions, and business logic, ensuring a unified understanding between AI and Business Users.
- Standardize the data dictionary, business glossary, and data definitions to enhance AI's capability to comprehend data.
- Work with Business Users to translate business requirements into scalable Data Models and Semantic Layers.
- Partner with Data Engineers to develop AI Analytics and Data Self-Service platforms.
- Proactively research, test, and implement emerging technologies in Analytics Engineering and AI.
Job Requirements
- Solid knowledge and experience in building Data Flows and ELT pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Data Modeling, Data Structuring, and Semantic Modeling.
- Hands-on experience in developing Semantic Layers, including Data Dictionaries, Business Glossaries, and Metrics definitions.
- Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) or similar Analytics Engineering tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with various database systems (experience with Amazon Redshift is a major plus).
- Good command of Python.
- Proficiency in Git and familiarity with GitHub/GitLab.
- A strong desire to grow in a data engineering environment and work with a diverse technical stack.
- Prior experience in building AI Agents, AI Workflows, or AI Analytics systems is highly advantageous.
- A solid foundation in data analysis with the ability to translate business problems into appropriate data structures.
- A strong sense of ownership, proactivity, and responsibility.
- Strong systematic and logical thinking with a quick learning curve and a willingness to explore new technologies.
- Clear, proactive, and open communication, with a readiness to engage in constructive, two-way discussions.
